This place is a find! I love the train table - my son can play while we eat. It makes for a more relaxing meal knowing that he's entertained. We loved it especially when he was younger and couldn't sit still for long which made it almost impossible to go out to eat. The pastries are so yummy too!

Denica's has great sandwiches and cookies. I wasn't a huge fan of the taqueria side. I'd stick with the bakery. A little pricey, but the food definitely has a more gourmet touch than your average sandwich shop.

They recently remodeled. I liked the old Denica's better. They had a GREAT kids play area which made for a fun afternoon outing where I could get a very yummy cookie and an okay cup of coffee and relax. I wish they would have kept the play area the way it was.

The best cookies and pastries! Great salads and sandwiches too. The little play area makes it a great place to take kids.

This place is far from up scale, but it's a nice place to go with little ones. They can play at the train table while you eat. The food is good, the bakery is yummy.

I always go for the taqueria side, but Denica's is a cafe/bakery AND a taqueria. You can't go wrong. Portions are big and the cookies are so good (with lots of samples!) There's also a train table for kids to play with and an electric train set up. My son loves it!
