I like the Singapore noodle and sea bass at this Chinese restaurant. Unlike many places, lemon chicken here is bite size and perfect for kids. Fried rice is a little oily, but the flavor is great. What I like best: Singapore noodle |

A Vietnamese friend recommended it to me so it couldn't be wrong. Indeed it was pretty good, just like its sister stores in South Bay and San Mateo. Its location is also convenient, right across La Asia market. The restaurant is small, but not elbow to elbow. What I like best: Grilled beef over rice |

I can't say enough nice things about the kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade teachers that my kids had at this school. They were very experienced, usually with 10 years or more experience in the same district. They truly care about kids. The school may look old, but it is well established in the community. If you want your kids to enroll in the after-school problem though, you really have to register early and have a lot of patience. |

I found their price on oil change and brake jobs to be very reasonable. I always went to their website to print a $10 off oil change coupon before I took the car in. The service people were courteous. Once I wanted to make sure the brake job they did on my car was all right, I took the car to another shop I trusted to double check. The shop said the brake job was fine. Given their price, I think it is a good deal. |

I've visited Dr. Longacre several times for the last few years and I was totally satisfied with the service. They offered a retina scan for a very affordable price (not covered by my insurance) that was very helpful to people like me who are worried about retina disease. |

The outside of this San Ramon Chinese restaurant looks ordinary, but inside you may find surprises. I've been this place a few times. I generally like it. The price is reasonable, food can be great but sometimes lacks consistency. I suggest going there on weekends to check out their appetizers (豆浆,油条). It is definitely one of the better chinese restaurants in tri-valley. |

I bought two set of tires from them, based on their selection and prices. (They don't do oil change and stuff, only tires.) One day one of the tire on my car was punctured by a nail. I brought it to America's Tire and they fixed it for free (I didn't have the extended warranty service). Incidentally another person also told me the same thing. They are good at keeping customers satisfied and loyal. What I like best: free repair |

Dr. De Bonis not only practices chiropractics but also loves doing it. He is a second-generation chiropractor. He cares about patients and is very keen on educating them as well as treating them. I had some minor lower back and neck problems, and I saw some significant improvement in a few weeks after seeing Dr. De Bonis. In every visit he took time to explain to me what was going on. I would recommend him to anyone who needs to see a chiropractor. He is also very active in the community. He is an ambassador of the Pleasanton Chamber of Commerce. |

I have had business accounts in both Bank of America and Washington Mutual. I have to say WaMu is way better. BofA kept charging me monthly fees. WaMu account is totally free. What is more, when I call, I can actually get hold of a person right away at WaMu (Cynthia at this branch is VERY helpful). Why not five stars? The bank got my check order wrong. But a phone call to Cynthia got it straightened out right away. |

This restaurant also has a catering service called Pampered Palate. I had a chance to sample their BBQ pulled pork on a local trade show. It was SO good I kept going back. It was juicy, and was a mouthful of flavor. Absolutely the best! |

The owner of H & M landscaping is Minh. He did my backyard at a reasonable price. Besides S & Y landscaping, Minh probably did more landscaping work in Windemere than anyone else. The labors he hires have been with him for years. These factors were the reasons I hired him. Now everyone who visits my yard is impressed with the landscaping. |

I found May through a friend who said May helped him lower his home insurance premium by a third. I called and ended up switching my home insurance as well. I didn't select any multi-line coverage (home/auto, home/life, etc.). I just switched my home insurance and it saved me $250 a year. |

I last visited there on a Wednesday at 6pm. I felt I was like a King, because there was zero wait. I went straight in. The food was very fresh. Not only the sushi and sashimi, which was expected for any decent Japanese restaurant. The fried vegetables and chicken nuggets were incredibly fresh as well. On top of that was the wide selection of sushi that was available. Definitely a place to go to if you crave Japanese food in tri-valley. |

If you have a hole in one of your window screens, where do you go to? I had that problem a year ago. After calling around a number of places, finally I was referred to Pleasanton Glass. They did it for $25. That was pretty reasonable price. |

Kid's birthday party can be a headache. You want kids entertained but you don't want them running wild in your house. I have found Chuck E Cheese really great for kids between 3 and 6. They have food, fluffy animals, place to crawl and games to play. If you want an easy party, this is a good choice. |

Be sure to check out the seafood tofu pot. With coconut milk, curry, and many other spices, it is very juicy and flavorful. |

It has two play structures, one for under 5, one for 5 to 12. A great place to bring kids, or meet your friendly neighbors. It can be crowded sometimes, but when the sports park opens, it should ease up. |

I ordered take-out from this Japanese restaurant in the new Ulfert center in Dublin. The food was good. Fresh and tasty. That was all I ask for. |

I just came back from a neighborhood watch meeting talking to Darlene from San Ramon police at Dougherty Valley station. The community outreach program they have is great. She talked about really useful tips to avoid being an easy target of thefts, and how the police works with the community to crack down on gang activities before they emerge. Compared to Pleasanton police I feel San Ramon police is much in tune with residents need. The last time when my car was hit by eggs right in front of my house in Pleasanton, I was pretty much told "don't bother to file a report". |

This is one of my all-time favorite for healthy food. A large salad bar and tasty soups make the price more than worthwhile. On top of that the bakery section has corn breads, muffins, pizzas and several other varieties. Then there are desserts and fruits. Truly an amazing restaurant. |
